60th Anniversary Battery-Powered PA Speaker
In the early sixties, Pete Traynor was approached by a band in need of a roadworthy PA system for an upcoming tour. This resulted in the development of Yorkville YSC speakers, the first known portable column PA system, which would quickly become commonplace on stages around the world.
Sixty years later, Yorkville Sound continues to innovate. Most recently, Yorkville unveiled the EXM Mobile series, the world’s best battery-powered PA systems. These unique, portable speakers give musicians the freedom to bring extraordinary sound to extraordinary places.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Yorkville Sound and Traynor Amps, we combined the modern capabilities of EXM with the vintage aesthetics of YSC. The result is a powerful, portable PA speaker that celebrates our past and present.
